Shepherd's Pie (chicken)


  • 1 cup diced cooked chicken
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 cup carrots
  • ½ cup of onion
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 (10 ounce) can of cream of chicken soup and ½ can of milk
  • 4 cups of mashed potatoes
  • ¼ cheddar cheese (optional)


  1. Fry carrots and onion until carrots are soft.
  2. Mix soup and milk together.
  3. Add chicken, carrots, onion, peas, salt, and pepper to the soup,
  4. Spread mixture into an ungreased 9-inch square pan.
  5. Add mashed potatoes (if you use leftovers warm them up first) on top of chicken mixture.
  6. Bake in oven for 30 minutes at 400 F or until top turns golden brown.
