Better Together: Be Grateful, Be Engaged, Be Trustworthy.

Welcome to Better Together. The only newsletter focused on showing you how amazing your marriage can be, and not afraid to tell you what it really takes to get there. Each week we give you a brief glimpse into our lives and three potentially life-changing ideas to help you become a better partner. We hope that you will find this newsletter inspirational and practical.

We believe that “close relationships, more than money or fame, are what keep people happy throughout their lives.” [1] We believe that by strengthening marriages, and families, we can improve the world at large.

We hope you will help us share this vision. Please consider sharing this newsletter with others via: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, or email.

From Our Lives

Today we are writing this newsletter, on a Sunday afternoon, sitting together on the edge of the tub. Our feet are splashing in a couple of inches of water. The outside temperature is 100 F (37 C), inside the temperature is somewhere around 85 F (35 C). It’s hot!

But, that doesn’t have to be our focus. Instead we are just enjoying spending time together. We have a tub of water, we have a cooler full of Otter Pops, and we have each other. The heat will be gone in another day or two. We will still have fond memories of today years from now.

That is really the point of “The Couple Project”. Learning to enjoy being together. Creating memories. Focusing on the positive.

What We Have Been Reading

“Life is like a mirror; we get the best results when we smile. So talk about your blessings more than you talk about your problems. Just because you’re struggling doesn’t mean you’re failing. Every great success requires some type of worthy struggle to get there.”

Marc and Angel

“Whoever is careless with truth in small matters cannot be trusted in important affairs.”

Albert Einstein

“Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.”
